On the recent days, H.E. Dr. Waleed Al-Jandal, Acting Dean of Deanship of Information Technology, has received at his office a delegation from Safeer Platform Program, a program that initiated by Saudi Ministry of Higher Education that links ministry and all culture missions around the world in one network.
Welcoming the delegation members, Dr. Al-Jandal has briefed them about Deanship of Information Technology and its mission and deliverables. He stated that, Al-Imam University has always keens to pay more attention and due care to the latest technologies and benefiting from it in all academical, practical, and administrative areas.
He, as well, has discussed with the delegation members the needs to link all the university applications and systems with Safeer platform.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Al-Jandal has toured with the visiting delegation inside the different departments of the deanship.
It worth to mention that, Safeer delegation has includes Mr. Hamad Al-Harabi, Director of Safeer Platform, Mr. Thenyan Al-Thenyan, Business Development Manager, Mr. Muhammad Abdul-Gadder, Research and Development Manager, and Mr. Suliman Al-Otaibi, Partners’’ Relation Manager. Dr. Waleed Al-Roddan, Vice-Dean of Deanship of Information Technology for Technical Affairs, and many dignitaries of the deanship were attended the meeting.
