Recently, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has met with H.E. Mr. Sheikh Mahmoud Dicko, President of Mali's Supreme Islamic Council, at Bamako, Capital of Republic of Mali.
Welcoming Dr. Aba Al-Khail, Mr. Dicko has acknowledged the efforts and contributions of Saudi Government in serving Islam and taking care of Muslims all around the world. He, as well, has denounced the heinous crime of the ballistic missile launch by Yemen’s Houthi militias toward Makkah, which has been intercepted and downed by Saudi ground forces 65 km from the holy city.
From his side, H.E. the university Rector has thanked Mr. Sheikh Dicko for his feelings towards Saudi Arabian Kingdom and its people. He convoyed to him, the readiness of Al-Imam University to, strongly, collaborate with the Mali's Supreme Islamic Council in areas of training and sharia professional courses, as well exchanging students and scholarships.
It is worth to mention that, the meeting between H.E. the university Rector and Head of Mali's Supreme Islamic Council has come in line with the participation of Dr. Aba Al-Khail at the 21st meeting of the executive council of FUIW, which has taken place at Bamako lastly. Furthermore, H.E. Mr. Masood Al-Harthi, Saudi Ambassador to Mali, has attended the meeting.
