Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, accompanied with Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mayman, Vice-Rector for Sharia Institutes’ Affairs, has launched on this Thursday morning the service of shuttle bus inside the university campus, says Eng. Muhammad Al-Gerian, Advisor and Head of Technical Affairs Administration.
Shedding more lights on the service, Eng. Al-Gerian stated that, the council of university has decided, in its regular session dated 07/09/1436 H, to launch the shuttle service in resolving to the problem of students not using the northern-eastern car parking, despite of its readiness and suitable capacity.
“A national company has then contracted with to provide seven buses, each with capacity of 28 passengers, to shuttle between the northern-eastern car parking and the university’s colleges. Supreme Jurisdiction Institute, College of Mass Media and Communication, Preparatory Year Building, Central Library, College of Social Sciences, College of Sharia, College of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and College of Sciences are amongst the targeted colleges”, asserted he.
It is worth to mention that, the service of shuttle bus will be working two periods per day, one from 06:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and the other from 14:30 P.M. to 22:30 P.M.
