Lastly, Saudi Centre for Narcotic Drugs Control and Psychotropic Substances Studies "Haseen" in collaboration with Deanship of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for Admission and Registration and General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) has arranged a training program on "Role of Female Academic Guiders in Protecting Female Students from Narcotics".
The training program, which has generated at Building No "321" at Female Students Study Centre, has come in line with the fruitful cooperation and concerted efforts of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, representing by Haseen Centre, to thickly increase the awareness programs for male and female students.
On the objectives of the training program, Dr. Seham Al-Azzam, Vice-Dean of Haseen Centre, has pointed out that, it aims to provide the female participants with specialized information and knowledge about the psychotropic substances, and its components and signs and ways of addiction. It also aims to provide the female trainees with the policies and steps of awareness programs that helps sharpening the female students' capabilities to deal with addition, prevention and abstention programs.
In a similar vein, Mrs. Sheikhah Al-Hajri, Trainer from GDNC, has added that, the training program aims to provide the female trainees with some of skills including; sharpening the social guidance skills and power of presentation and conviction, helping in develop deliberated programs aim to establish social awareness among community members about the damages of narcotics and its negative impacts. Additionally, increase the efficiency of the trainee and training her to discover female students whom subjected to violence or threats, providing trainees with the latest developments and information about narcotics, maintaining the concept of containing female students and accepting their personal patterns as is it, not as we do want. Lastly, the importance of positive and effective cooperation and concerted efforts of GDNC to combat drugs and controlling it and its abuse.
It is noteworthy that, a number of female trainees from the academic guidance has acknowledged Haseen Centre for arrange the training course, which, as per their words, aspired by the university community with great interest and enriching in communal prevention for such harm plagues.
