Imam Mohammad Ibn
Saud Islamic University (IMSIU), represented by the Vice Presidency for
Educational Affairs, signed a cooperation agreement with Takween Artificial
Intelligence Company on Monday, August 10, 2026, with the aim of strengthening
cooperation in strategic areas and exchanging expertise in support of the
strategic objectives of both parties.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the
University by Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdullah A. Al-Asmari,
while the company was represented by its Founder and CEO, Mr. Ahmed M.
Sulaiman.
The agreement aims to foster cooperation in implementing initiatives,
ideas, and talent-driven projects that leverage artificial intelligence to
improve performance, enhance spending efficiency, monitor performance
indicators, and support academic, industrial, and security oversight through
smart electronic platforms and secure AI tools. It also covers the exchange of
expertise, studies, consultations, and data, as well as conducting and
supporting scientific studies and research related to artificial intelligence
and business solutions.
The agreement also includes cooperation in providing
cooperative training opportunities for male and female students, organizing
conferences, seminars, and specialized training courses, marketing the products
of both parties, and supporting the achievement of sustainable development
goals and initiatives.
The agreement reflects the University’s commitment to
strengthening cooperation and partnerships with the information technology and
artificial intelligence sector to promote institutional excellence and
facilitate the exchange of expertise, contributing to community service and the
advancement of academic and technological performance.
