Under the patronage of His Excellency the Rector of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center is pleased to announce the launch of the 2026 Imam University Hackathon. This initiative aims to foster a culture of innovation, empower innovators to develop creative and technological solutions that address university challenges, enhance service quality, and promote digital transformation and sustainability within the university.
The hackathon serves as an intensive innovation platform, bringing together participants in multidisciplinary teams to develop practical and applicable solutions. It transforms ideas into prototypes and projects that can be scaled up and adopted by relevant entities within the university.
The Imam University Hackathon aims to address operational, service, and academic challenges within the university by developing innovative solutions with a sustainable impact. This will contribute to enhancing the user experience, improving institutional performance, and bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical application.
A large number of challenges submitted by academic, administrative, and technical departments within the university were received and reviewed. A set of high-quality challenges was selected across four main areas:
